Kristy has been a resident of the San Mateo County coastside for over 23 years and has been a passionate advocate for nonprofits for much longer.
Her work has included serving as the Executive Director of Tax-Aid, a San Francisco-based nonprofit providing free tax and financial advice to low-income families. While at Tax-Aid, Kristy led the startup of the United Way of the Bay Area's “Earn It! Keep It! Save It!” campaign in San Mateo County helping to build a public/private coalition that continues to serve over 5,000 families each year.
Kristy has also served as a consultant to multiple Bay Area nonprofits and is currently a Vice President at Netzel Grigsby Associates, a nonprofit management consulting firm, where she specializes in capital campaigns, feasibility studies, strategic planning and organizational development.
She currently serves on advisory boards for Tax-Aid and Deborah’s Palm and holds a Master’s Degree in Community Education.
