Lisa Williams is a resident of the Coastside.   She served 32 years in Law Enforcement, working her way through the ranks, before retiring as a Captain.  She has been a mentor for women in law enforcement and has a strong interest in women’s issues countywide.  As Commander of the women’s Correctional Center, she implemented cost effective, gender specific and gender responsive programming for incarcerated women, which included education, recovery services and vocational training and personal development.  She is a graduate of the FBI National Academy for Law Enforcement Leadership and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services Administration from Notre Dame de Namur.
